Position# (4175) Financial Analyst
Position Type: Financial Analysis
Compensation Range - Base: $75,000 - $85,000
Location: Houston, Tx
Position Description: As a key member of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, the Financial Analyst supports senior management by analyzing the financial performance of the business, assisting the strategic planning process, developing operating plans and forecasts, creating reports and presentations for management, board and investors, and performing various financial analysis. Develop the forecasts and plans for business segment with revenue of over $300 million Serve as a financial partner to the sales organization to ensure accurate and timely forecasts are delivered. Consolidate detailed and rollup the monthly forecasts and budgets and review with President of segmet. Perform ad-hoc business analysis, pricing analysis, commissions plans and various other analysis as requested by President of segment Prepares management reports and commentary for presentation to Senior management. These include a comparison of actual results and various performance metrics to annual budget, forecast and historical trends. Developing reporting needs (ad-hoc and standard) for Managers and Senior Management to rapidly changing business requirements. Develops Long Term integrated financial projections models using business drivers. Assists in strategic planning process/evaluation of business initiatives. Reviews segment financials and operating performance with division managers. Assists in preparation of annual operating plan, monthly forecast, and capital expenditure plan. Performs ad-hoc financial analysis to facilitate strategic and tactical decision-making. Coordinates the development of Hyperion planning applications, CRM tools and templates and reviews data feeds for accuracy and completeness
Job Requirements: Ability to work individually or as part of a group on special projects. Ability to be given an objective and move forward without a lot of explicit direction
